Math Games

For Maths we have been working on long multiplication and place value. We had some questions to answer about multiplication. I found that the questions were quite hard to do because I couldn't really figure out how to work out the answer. My score at the end was 5/10 from the long multiplication.

DLO Problem Of The Week 2

 Kia Ora Readers!

This week we have a different problem for the week. It is called 'Sharing Cards.' We had to do 2 problems with the same answer then after that we had to make a 'DLO' (Digital Learning Objects) showing how we solved the question. I found this kind of easy but when we had to write the problem it was quite hard. This is my DLO.

Have you ever made a DLO?

DLO Problem Of The Week 1

 你好 讀者群 (Ni Hao Readers)

For a few days in Miss McClellands Math class we have been doing a Maths problem involving fractions. I found this quite difficult but then I figured out a bit more what it meant. The math question was on a piece of paper and after we figured it out and wrote down our answer and how we solved it, we made a DLO ( digital learning objects ) I made a slide show on google slides of how I solved the answer. This is my DLO.

Have you ever used fractions in a equation before?

Make Ten Addition Strategy

Kia Ora!
Today in Miss McClelland's Math Group we did a Worksheet called 'Make Ten Addition Strategy.' It was quite hard at the start but when I keep trying to work out how to do it made it a bit easier. We have been learning about equations that make the number 10. We first watched a video of someone doing some Math questions of how to make numbers fit 10. This is what the worksheet looked like and my answers.

Elapsed Time

Today in Math with Miss Williamson we did a activity on Elapsed Time but on Tuesday we did task the task's 1-5, but today we did task 6 which was the hardest one. It was really tricky but as I kept trying I got better! Then after that we did a test on clocks. Miss McClellands Math class have been learning a lot about time. So this is my work I did on Elapsed time!

Have you ever done Elapsed Time or learnt about it?

Measuring Time- Calendars

Hey Readers!
On the 8th of May in Miss McClelland's Math group we did a activity on Measuring Time using Calendars. We had about 7 questions related to Calender's, we had to solve. I think the hardest was task 6 because it you had to try and guess each child's birthday when they were born. But I think the easiest question was task 3 (you can have a look what task 3 is) This is what the slide looks like and all my answers.

Have you ever done something like this before?

The stratigy what me and my budy used was we put ten marbles in first then he put twenty witch equals thirty then he added thirty witch equals sixty after that he added forty witch equals one hundred. So the answer is one hundred. Hope you comment and give me some feedback.
