Sea turtles

For The Past two weeks Mrs Jacks Writing groups have been learning how a
Sea Turtle grows from a egg to a adult. So we had to make a expiation about
how they grow up. Please give me more feedback if you know anything that I
didn't put in the post comment and tell me.

Years ago when dinosaurs were around in some places sea turtles were around too.                                                                                                                                                                               Sea turtles
Sea turtles lay between 50-200 eggs and also the mother climbs up high to lay the eggs. The eggs are the size of ping pong balls, and when baby sea turtles are born they are very small.

The baby sea turtles rush up to the surface to look around and they can fit

inside a person's palm because they are very small.
Sea turtles can be adults when they are 20 years old. Also when they are an

adult they take care of there baby turtles. They go back to the beach where

they were born.
So that concludes how a Sea Turtle egg grows into a grown and breading

adult. From their little palm size baby to a grown adult.

How Does Scissors Work?

This week we have been learning about scissors. We had to describe what it has on it and what holds it together. We have been writing were to put your fingers and all the parts on it. I hope you enjoy.

Scissors have sharp ends so they can cut objects.
Scissors is a crafty thing that helps to cut objects and if you are doing arts and crafts you can use scissors to cut paper.
To use scissors you put your thumb and three fingers but if you have smaller hands you put your four  fingers in the holes.
There is a screw in the middle of the scissors to keep the sharp bits and to keep the holes together.
When you use scissors if you are only a little kid you can use adult supervison.

Scissors Have....
  • 2 Handles
  • 2 Holes to put your fingers in.
  • 1 bolt to hold everything together.
  • 2 Blades to cut.

When you have scissors laying around on the ground and you see them pick them up because you might walk on them and it will be sharp, and if you are walking with them you need to hold them by the ends of the scissors, so they don’t poke you in the eye.

Things you can cut with:
Paper
Cardboard
Plastic
Hair
Ribbon
