How Does Scissors Work?

This week we have been learning about scissors. We had to describe what it has on it and what holds it together. We have been writing were to put your fingers and all the parts on it. I hope you enjoy.

Scissors have sharp ends so they can cut objects.
Scissors is a crafty thing that helps to cut objects and if you are doing arts and crafts you can use scissors to cut paper.
To use scissors you put your thumb and three fingers but if you have smaller hands you put your four  fingers in the holes.
There is a screw in the middle of the scissors to keep the sharp bits and to keep the holes together.
When you use scissors if you are only a little kid you can use adult supervison.

Scissors Have....
  • 2 Handles
  • 2 Holes to put your fingers in.
  • 1 bolt to hold everything together.
  • 2 Blades to cut.

When you have scissors laying around on the ground and you see them pick them up because you might walk on them and it will be sharp, and if you are walking with them you need to hold them by the ends of the scissors, so they don’t poke you in the eye.

Things you can cut with:
Paper
Cardboard
Plastic
Hair
Ribbon

My Miserable Peom

The last few weeks we have been learning about the feelings in our writing. I did Miserable and Joyful, I did what it looks like and what it tastes like, and sounds like also what it Smells like. I hope you like it. BYE!!
MISERABLE!!!!!
Miserable is a feeling when somebody is unhappy.

Miserable looks like someone walking around with a sad face.

Miserable feels like a  boring day, not fun day and when you can not do anything around yourself.

Miserable sounds like quiet in your head and nobody talking cause you are having a boring and miserable day.

Miserable tastes like an unhappy food that tastes yucky inside your mouth.

Miserable smells like stinky socks that have been in the rubbish bin for 2 years.

I was sailing around in the ocean of the joyful  waves as they rushed over eachother. But then the ocean was not a joyful ocean anymore it was the most boring ocean EVER!!!!!!!! Joyful is a word that is a yellow  and a crystal clear colour, and boring is a word that is grey and has no bright colours in it. Then i could hear the GINOERMOUS waves get bigger and bigger…

THE END!!!!!!!!
