In Mrs Jones Writing group we have been Writing a Narrative called Teeth. We watched a video and it was about two old men and they were fishing, but my writing will explain it all. My favourite part about writing this was that it was quite funny even thinking about it, but what was a bit hard was thinking about good adjectives that would make it a good story. This is my writing!
On a calm lake two old men are fishing in a boat.
One of the old men sneezes and suddenly his false teeth fall out and lands on the side of the boat. While this is happening the other old man starts to laugh continuously. The first man was not impressed because he was being laughed at. Then he tried to grab his teeth but he knocked them into the water.
Later on they were both quietly fishing with their backs to each other. Then the old man who still has his teeth caught a fish, he thought he would be funny and took out his false teeth and put them in the fish's mouth, to show the other man that he caught his teeth. The first man was surprised and grabbed the teeth and put them in his mouth. But they didn’t fit so he threw them into the water.
Both men have lost their teeth.
Hi Erin, great story. I don't think I will go fishing when I'm old. How about you?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Erin, thanks for sharing your writing. This is a funny story and you have used some good adjectives even though you mentioned you found this hard. I can picture the lake in my mind because you have described it as calm. What are some other words you could use to describe the lake?
