Invention Story

For the past few days we have been learning about wheels and inventions. Then we all made an invention story adding a person making an invention. We first did a draft in our book and then copied it onto a google doc. My story is about 3 pages long. This is my story that I did.

One Morning a 16 year old boy named Simon Cycle woke up in the morning for a school day. He got breakfast and combed his hair, just it was a normal school day.

Simon turned on the tv and it was on the News channel. News reporter David, he had his own show for training wild animals. It was quite big on tv.

Suddenly on the screen David started to say the daily news. “Welcome to channel 4 news. This morning we have breaking news, a blackout sale has started at about 7:30 AM. There have been 2 car crashes early this morning because of all the clutter of people trying to get into the mall.

Then Simon turned off the tv and thought of an idea. He planned a vehicle that could get him to school faster than ever. The invention he was planning on doing was a ‘Gliding Bus!’ The bus had shiny yellow paint and crystal clear windows on each side of it.

The best part about the bus was the engine that made everything come to life!

A few minutes later Simon started up the bus and the garage opened. He drove up to the street and pulled a lever that made the bus fly.

So the flying bus flew over the traffic. He thought “Wow that could’ve been me in one of those cars stuck in that big traffic jam. It took about 5 minutes to get to his school but if he would be in a car it would’ve been 20-25 minutes!

As he got to his school Simon landed, and parked it.

Simon walked inside the school and noticed that there weren’t many people at school there because of how early it was. He probably thought that the reason why nobody was there was because of all the traffic on the road.

Next Simon did everything he wanted. He grabbed all the food from the cafeteria and ate all the food.
