Hey Readers,
In the Media team a man called Kerry who is a editing camera man on What now, talked about all the things people who flim need to do when you are filming and editing.
The things that he said were, on the count down starting at five you count down and then on two you turning your camera on then on one the person who is getting filmed starts talking about what is going on.
He also said that the angles that people do behind the camera its called the crab were you walk a bit when the person who is getting filmed walks a bit to the side to get the shot. Also there was a angle that goes up to get the shot of whats going on to.
It was very intersing but there was alot of talking going on and it was quite confusing when he started but then it got more easier to answer all the questions. Comment what do you think was intersing that I wrote? Bye!

Kia ora Erin,
ReplyDeleteIt is great to read your reflection of the day with the Media Team. I hope that now you have filmed some clips for the student summit you can understand some of the things Kerry talked about a bit better. I think that the conversation around panning, crab walking and tracking was the most interesting.
What camera technique do you like the best?
