Dust Buddies Writing

Kia Ora Readers!
On the 11th of May in Mrs Jones Writing group we watched a video called Dust Buddies. After we watched it we all gave ideas for Mrs Jones to type into a template and that was used as our brainstorming ideas. Then we used those ideas for our plan! I'm quite proud of myself because I've never wrote this much writing before! I really enjoyed writing about this. Anyways this is my writing!

One bright sunny day inside a rich house there was a dust buddy using a paperclip
to fish for broken crackers.

There was a light grey one and a dark grey one, they LOVED nibbling on crackers.
But they were always up to mischief.

One day suddenly the evil maid came in and saw that there was dust on the ground,
the dark grey dust buddy and his friends were all out in the open so the maid would be able to see them!
The dust buddies looked frightened. The maid got out the vacuum and headed straight to them.

The light grey dust buddy warned them that she was coming.
All of the others quickly ran as fast as they could,
but the maid was too fast that she was already a centimetre close to them.

Suddenly the dark grey dust buddie and his friends got sucked up the vacuum cleaner.
The light grey dust buddy looked shocked and his eyes started to grow bigger with tears.
Then he thought of a plan to get his friends back.

As the maid was still vacuuming the grey dust buddy ran over quickly so the maid wouldn’t see him.
He saw that the vacuum was plugged in and he thought that he would take
out the plug then he could rescue his friends!

He hid in the corner so the maid wouldn’t see him.
The maid looked confused as to why the vacuum was not vacuuming anymore.
Then she noticed that the plug fell out.
The grey dust buddy went over and into the vacuum and tried rescuing his friends.
They needed to be quick or otherwise the maid will plug the vacuum back
in and they will all be stuck in there.

After they were all rescued they thought that what the maid did was not okay
so they thought that they would put the maid in the vacuum cleaner!
